Technical Control Desk


The Primary functions of Technical Control Desk are as follows;

  1. Candidate’s continued engineering presence required at workplace.
  2. Help Desk Attendant will be responsible for the ‘Release’ and ‘Return to Service’ of ‘Operational Systems’.
  3. Incident call out management , operational fall back management, LVP Coordination, work as a fire incident central contact point, management of engineering database, creatioin of statistical & event reports from DB, relay of information to duty engineer, reception & registration of visitors to engineering areas and  acess control & security of all technical areas.
  4. Vehicle issue management, key issue management, system configuration laptop management, tool issue management, safety equipment issue management, handheld radio readiness & issue management, hazard log control, accident log control, equipment room environmental monitoring, central first aid kit mangement and duty sign in log & absence reporting.
  5. Company system technical ‘Help Files’, staff admin support folders and administration support tasks.
  6. Keeping a central, tangible and cognizant contact point at reception; the management & logging of all customer queries, fault reporting, coordination of facilities management, ICS activities in work areas, coordinatioin with operating units, outside agencies details, other units etc.
  7. Carryout engineering airfiled driving duties, assistance of equipment locating/set up, technical cleaning and other engineering support duties.
  8. Accuracy of fault logging, message passing and other ‘Technical Control Desk’ duties.
